This is a mechanical Tier 3 unit from JCB’s DieselMax 444 range, previously supplied against multiple part numbers including 320/40415, 320/40232, 320/40106, 320/40201 and 320/50405.
Displacing 4.4 litres across four cylinders with a bore of 103mm and stroke of 132mm, the engine uses a mechanical injection pump and delivers a maximum torque of 440Nm. It meets EU Stage IIIA and EPA Tier 3 emissions standards and requires no aftertreatment system.
